There is more to Mauritius than just sitting on the fantastic beaches. Your Mauritius holiday can be as adventurous or as lazy as you want it to be. We recommend hiring a car to explore the island, you can do this on your own or have a driver guide with you. Find an old colonial house or rhumerie and have lunch before continuing to explore hidden beaches or interesting museums. If you seek adventure, there is no shortage of that in Mauritius. From quad-biking, zip lining and sea karts to catamaran cruises and mountain hikes, Mauritius has so much to offer.
