Located in the north of the island on Anse la Raie, this adult only resort is big on sustainability practices. Not only is there a zero single use plastic policy, but the resort encourages guests to use 100% natural mineral sunscreen and to visit their Marine Discovery Centre to learn more about the reefs and how to protect them.
With a beautiful peaceful lagoon on one side of the resort and a kite surfers paradise on the other, Lagoon Attitude caters for all moods during the day. Continuing with the active theme, guests can take part in a wide variety of other water sports like sailing and snorkelling.
Wood, rope and rattan combine with soft neutral colours creating light airy rooms. The Couple Seafront Rooms are particularly good, but for a real treat opt for a Whirlpool Suite which has a whirlpool bath on the balcony over looking the lagoon.
There are five restaurants offering a superb choice of cuisine including the main buffet restaurant, Bénitier. Not to be missed is having a great meal at the Asian restaurant, Lemongrass or seafood specialities at Coral. But if you just want try some local Mauritian street food, then head to Taba J.
