Set on a private peninsula in the historic south of the island, Shandrani Beachcomber boasts three great beaches including the famous Wild Beach. In the lagoon near the resort lies the stunning Blue Bay Marine Park which is a great place for snorkelling.
The resort has an abundance of activities on offer aside from all the water sports. The on-site 9-hole pitch and putt golf course is a great way to refine your short game and the resort also has privileged access to the 18-hole Avalon Golf Estate a short drive away. The Sports & Nature programme is also a great way to explore nature surrounding the resort including the island of Ile aux Aigrettes.
This is a great resort for both couples and families. The rooms here are very spacious and the Deluxe Rooms can accommodate two adults and two children. Families can also choose two inter-connecting rooms or one of the 2-Bedroom Family Apartments. Popular for most are the split level Superior Rooms which are closest to the main pool area.
There are six restaurants at Shandrani Beachcomber serving a wide variety of cuisines. We recommend dining at Teak Elephant at least once during your stay. It serves a Thai taster menu and is only available to guests 12 years and over.
The spa is an amazing haven of peace and relaxation set under the shade of an age-old badamier tree with a large pool. Thatched Robinson Crusoe-style cabins provide areas where a multitude of treatments and massages take place.
