Set equidistant from the island’s capital, Port Louis, and the vibrant village of Grand Baie in the north, Victoria Beachcomber is a great base to explore the island. Facing west, this is one of the best places to enjoy a Mauritian sunset.
The rooms and suites here are some of the most spacious on the island. For families, the Deluxe Rooms can take two adults and two children, but we would recommend one the 2-Bedroom Family Apartments. The resort also has a separate wing dedicated to adults only, Victoria for 2. It features Ocean View Rooms and amazing Swim-Up Rooms. There is also a swim-up bar and an adults only restaurant, Morris Beef.
La Casa is a fabulous restaurant for either a lazy lunch or a gourmet dinner, definitely recommended. L’Horizon serves seafood specialities with your feet in the sand and the main restaurant, Le Superbe, features themed buffets.
Victoria Beachcomber offers an extensive range of water activities and has one of the best scuba diving academies on the island. If you want to learn to dive or dive with the best, this is the resort for you. A fun and adventurous kids club is included for children aged 3-11 years.
